Bicycle Supply Chain is a Mess

While we may be turning the corner on the COVID-19 pandemic, and all look forward to regaining some sense of normalcy, it will be a long time until things get back to normal for bicycle stores.

With unprecedented demand worldwide, which caught manufacturers and suppliers off guard, the supply chain has been severely disrupted and is unlikely to recover any time in 2021.

This will continue to impact the availability of bikes, accessories, and service parts.  We will continue to purchase aggressively and leverage our volume and relationships with key vendor partners to meet the needs of all our customers, but it will be very challenging for the foreseeable future.  We thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to provide the best level of service possible under the current circumstances.

Here is the best way for you to get bikes, parts and service:

We encourage you to buy online for in store pickup. Our live inventory can be seen on our website at BikeSourceonline.com.  We urge you to visit frequently, as new inventory is coming in and going out daily. If you find what you want, you are encouraged to purchase as the product may be gone quickly.  If you don’t, check back regularly or reach out to us so we can help you find a great option.

Service your bike early this year. Our Service Departments are open and fully staffed. However, with a growing demand for service work and a shortage of service parts, repair times may be longer than usual.  We encourage you to get your bike tuned up in the winter season before the big spring rush.
